Hello, dear visitor

My name is Thiago Augusto Ozores (TAO), Brazilian, I’m an IT guy struggling to explain for normal people, what I do to live.

Some people think that I work in a place like “The Matrix” and that I learned my job in a place like Hogwarts, but I’m just a normal guy for real (just don’t ask me to define normal 🙂 )

I started my career as a Clipper and Visual Basic developer, until be seduced by the sysadmin/ops side of the force.

Since then I have been specializing in Middleware, Linux and Open Source products but I never let behind my developer side, so sometime I use my limited time to develop something (mainly using Python, one of the coolest languages in the world 🙂 )

I like to study different topics from the IT market, currently I’m studying a lot about Agile, DevOps, Cloud and more (I never stop to study)

But one thing that I focus hard my learning is about Open Source, I love the Open Source philosophy and I believe that it is changing the world radically.

So, one thing that I try to do in my job is convince people that Open Source is reliable, cost-effective and safe.
